On Wednesday 25th March, 6 – 6.45pm, Mark Stevenson, ‘reluctant futurist’ and award-winning author of the best-selling An Optimist’s Tour of the Future and We Do Things Differently will deliver a whistle-stop tour of The Good, The Bad and The Ugly of the next 20 years and why ‘business as usual’ is a recipe for disaster.
How is the landscape of society going to change in terms of technology, energy, governance, health and commerce, and how can we answer the big questions the future is asking us?
His talk will wrap up the themes from our Festival of the Future that afternoon, which will be running from 3.30 – 6pm at Cheney School, with over 60 different organisations running stalls, exhibitions and activities for all ages.
You can see a full brochure for the festival here.
